Exchanges

We’re happy to help you exchange your Salty DNA gear for a different size, colour, or style. All exchanges follow our standard return eligibility rules. Here’s how the exchange process works from start to finish.

1. Send your original item back to us

Before we can ship out your new item, you must send the original product back to our warehouse.

* Make sure your item meets our return conditions (unworn, unwashed, clean, and with tags or visible prints intact).

* Package your item securely so it is protected in transit.

* Address your parcel to:

* You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method.

2. Send us your tracking number

After you ship your package, please share your tracking information so we can monitor your return and speed up the exchange.

Send us:

* Your full name

* Your order number

* The item(s) you are exchanging

* The tracking number and carrier you used

You can send this information in either of these ways:

* Using the chat widget on our website, or

* Emailing us at orders@saltydna.ca

3. We receive and inspect your item

Once your package arrives at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item to confirm it meets our return and exchange conditions.

* If the item is in acceptable condition, we will approve the exchange.

* If there is an issue with the item (for example, visible wear, stains, odours, or damage), we will contact you to discuss next steps.

4. We ship your new item

After your exchange is approved:

* We will prepare and ship your new item to the same address used on your original order, unless you have arranged a different address with us in advance.

* We cover the cost of shipping the replacement item out to you.

* You will receive a new tracking number for your exchanged item by email (and/or via the website chat if you contacted us there).

If the item you requested for exchange is out of stock, we will reach out with options, which may include choosing a different size/colour, selecting another product, or receiving store credit or a refund according to our policy.
